What Is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)  is a chronic mental, emotional, or physical problem that results from severe trauma. More than 5 million adults in the United States are affected by PTSD each year. PTSD is an anxiety disorder that is brought on by memories of an extremely stressful event or series of events that cause intense fear, particularly if feelings of helplessness accompanied the fear. That event may be from a war, physical or sexual assault or abuse, an accident, such as an airplane crash or serious car accident or a mass natural disaster like a tornado, hurricane or earthquake. Anyone can develop PTSD if the event happened to them, including if they only  witnessed it.PTSD persists long after the event and is characterized by the intensity of the feelings, how long they last, how you react to these feelings, and the presence of particular symptoms. Traumatic event cause the body to go into a state of disarray. Homeopathic treatment is designed to restore balance and health but treating the individual, for their story and relief their physical, mental and spiritual suffering.  Not every person will suffer from PTSD after an event.  Those effected are often of more sensitive constitutional types.

Not everyone who has lived through a disaster will experience PTSD – it depends on physical and psychological make-up, past experiences, the intensity of the trauma, and the amount of social support a person can call upon following the event. - See more at:
