Bach remedies are
flower energies that come as a liquid, preserved in brandy. They have the
energy from the plant, not a physical substance, so they will not interfere with
the physical action of the other medicine. Other medicine including homeopathy
will not stop the Bach remedy from working and vice versa.
Bach Flower Remedies
are often given in combination. You can mix two
up to 6 Bach Flower Remedies together to match your precise
mix of emotions.
You can combine up
to
6 Bach Flower remedies in one RSB.
Optional:
Add 1 tsp. of brandy, apple cider vinegar or vegetable glycerin as a
preservative.
Dose: Take four
(4) drops of this from your RSB, 4 times a day.
OR...
Dose: You can also put
2 drops from the RSB in a cup or a bottle of waterand sip it throughout the day.
There is no
difference in potency or speed of effect between taking four drops from a
treatment bottle and taking right from the Bach Flower bottle - only the taste is
stronger.
If no water is
available, the remedies can be taken undiluted either in the mouth, on
the skin behind the ears or on the inside of the wrist.
Single Bach
Flower Dosing
The dosage is two (2) drops
into your mouth using the dropper that comes with the bottle, four (4)
times a day.
Do not to let
the dropper touch your mouth or you will contaminate the bottle.
The first dose
should be on an empty stomach in the morning, followed by doses at
noon, evening and night at bedtime.
Don't eat or drink
anything for
fifteen (15) minutes
before and after the dose if you want the remedy to act well. These are
gentle healing remedies and strong flavors and tastes can minimize their
effects.
You will most
probably feel better
after the first few doses with the right remedy but you should
continue it and give it a chance to work well in your body.
In most cases, you
will continue the remedy for three to four weeks.
Infant and Young
Children Dosage:
One (1) drop,
given
four times a day is the usual dose unless it is an emergency.
You can also put
the one (1) drop into
half a cup of water and let them sip it
Children usually
respond
very quickly to Bach remedies and sometimes one dose is all it takes
to help them.
Emergency Dosage
When it is a
serious case, you can administer two (2) drops from the dropper bottle
every fifteen minutes
if necessary until the person feels better after which you can get back to
four doses a day.
In absolute
emergencies, you can increase each dose to four drops.
Other Ways To
Administer Bach Remedies
You can put the
drops into a tablespoon of water and drink it.
You can put the
drops into
half a cup of water and sip it.
In case you want to
give these remedies to someone in the family without them knowing, you could
put two (2) drops into a glass of water and give it to them.
It is preferable
not to add it to juice or other hot or cold drinks. These remedies are
so gentle yet effective but they must not be exposed to strong tastes or
flavors.
They can be put
into water and used as compresses when somehow is hurt or in pain.
They can even be
put into the bath water – 5 drops to a full bath is recommended.
