About Homeopathic Facial Analysis (HFA) Homeopathic Facial Analysis (HFA) is used to help interpret a client's dominant energy pattern. This is done in addition to traditional case taking and helps to pinpoint the best, most effective remedy group for any chronic case. In HFA, we view and measure the shape, size and placement of key facial features. These key features include a specific set of possible combinations of features in the hairline, forehead, face, eyes, nose, ears, teeth, gums and ears. HFA is not about looks or expression. HFA is not related to race, gender or age. Infants and young children will already demonstrate an inherited natural pattern of response to stress, as will people at all ages. We do not change our dominant pattern that we inherit, even as we age. Each of us is born with a dominant force within us which remains for life. For each person, there is one dominant pattern demonstrated in specific set of facial features that indicates a chronic energy response pattern to stress. Chronic stress ultimately develops into acute and chronic diseases. The dominant pattern of response to stress is shown physically in the face, in a certain combined set of facial features that can be analyze with a set of 7 specifically taken photos as instructed. For each facial feature that is analyzed, there is one color that is assigned to each feature, from the HFA analysis chart. These features are then tallied and the total that is the largest represents that dominant color for a client. Within each HFA color there are a specific set of polychrest remedies that are clinically found to be the most effective in cases that have that color (pattern of energy) dominant. When analyzing a case using HFA, the best matched remedy for a given case is found using this case analysis method. In my practice, I use the HFA analysis method, along with a traditional repertorization of the mental, emotion, physical, and general symptoms. There is also special consideration for the medical and miasmatic history of the client and the symptoms of the chief complaint. Below are the seven (7) colors used in HFA relating to the active energy pattern that correspond to each:
